About the Author Stan Keillor is an attorney with over three decades of experience in criminal, appellate, and pro bono civil law. He served as Deputy Chief Staff Attorney for Criminal Law at the Minnesota Court of Appeals and later as a Special Assistant State Public Defender. He has written over thirty appellate briefs, as well as articles published in The Hamline Law Review and the Syracuse Law Review. His short story “The Arc of a Career” was featured in Bench & Bar of Minnesota. He sings baritone in choir and dreams of owning a sailboat.
