Introduction: Lorentzzi® brand 1024 PPR rotary encoder is an incremental optical rotary encoder that can generate 1024 pulses after one rotation. The higher the pulse, the higher the accuracy of measuring the motor rotation angle or speed. The incremental rotary encoder is usually used together with the servo motor as a feedback sensor to achieve real-time monitoring and precise control of the motor status. Our 1024 PPR photoelectric rotary encoder has A, B, Z 3-phase output or A, A-, B, B-, Z, Z- 6-phase output to choose from. Phase A and phase B (or A, A-, B, B-) are quadrature pulse signals used to determine the direction of rotation. Phase Z is the zero pulse for reference point positioning. Its external diameter is 50 mm, shaft diameter can be 6 mm or 8 mm, also there are other diameters available. The standard cable length is 2 meters, and the cable outlet can be rear or side. The output signal can be totem pole, NPN open collector, PNP open collector, line driver 26LS31(5 VDC working voltage only ) or line driver 7272(8-30 VDC wide working voltage) or push-pull.
