They have a durable grippy sole to protect feet from as you walk into your swim. The side zip, with anti-flush barrier is great for easy on / off and the chunky zip-pull is good for cold fingers. They offer some warmth from 5mm of neoprene and blind stitched for comfortable seams, plus there’s also contoured toe protection to protect numb toes. NB: Whilst these boots will help keep your feet warm and protected they are not the best for swimming in. Any neoprene boot with rubber soles will hinder your ability to swim effectively a the sola causes drag. This won’t matter to some people who want to prioritise foot protection over swimming efficiency. However, if you prefer to swim unhindered and still want warm feet, then swimming socks are a much more suitable.
